Mobile Mammography Unit (MMU)

Deepak Foundation is having two Mobile mammography Unit initiated in 2024 by focusing on early detection of breast cancer in women aged 35 years and above. Mobile mammography Unit is a state of art facility equipped with latest equipment and technology. The Mobile mammography Unit travels to hard-to-reach areas, urban slums and increase access to screening for breast cancer. The MMU also provide awareness on breast, oral and cervical cancer. Nearly 4,800 screening for breast cancer done by Mobile mammography Unit annually.

Filling the Gap in Healthcare Availability Providing Free of Cost Services
Flexibility and Adaptability Privacy and Comfort

MMU also contributing to following National Health Programs like:

  • National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases(NP-NCD).
  • National Programme for Health Care of the Elderly (NPHCE).
  • Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram (RKSK).
