The Foundation has been implementing some projects such as Sangaath- Facilitating Government Scheme Coverage, Neem Sattva- to improve livelihood opportunities for rural women by promoting and supporting entrepreneurship, Mobile Health Unit- doorstep healthcare services and Deepak Laboratory and Diagnostic Centre- a laboratory that provides affordable, accessible, and reliable diagnostic services as a part of CSR based in Dahej area of Bharuch District. To set-up SUC for skilling industrial workers in the catchment area and for providing entrepreneur opportunities for their family members located in the catchment area, a need assessment survey of industries located in PCPIR region of Dahej was carried out recently (June 2022) based on request from the CED, Surat
objectives of the project identified based on the need assessment survey are as follows:
To establish a Skill Upgradation Centre that creates proficient quality workforce in various sectors.
• To provide vocational training for the Manual Housekeeping course
• To provide vocational training for the Domestic Data Entry Operator
• To ensure 100% industry exposure to all the registered beneficiaries to provide them hands-on training during internship tenure.
• To ensure that at least 80% of the trained candidates secure certification from government at the completion of course.
