Geetaben Parmar, a dedicated member of Suvas Sakhi Mandal in Charanpura Village, was facing persistent financial challenges that affected her family’s stability. As part of the Samanvay project—an initiative jointly implemented by Deepak Foundation and Deepak Phenolics Limited—Geetaben received structured training and guidance in animal husbandry, enabling her to explore sustainable livelihood opportunities.
With continued support from the project, Geetaben learned new skills, expanded her livestock, and even constructed a new animal shelter to enhance productivity. Her efforts soon translated into tangible results. Geetaben’s monthly income doubled from ₹3,500 to ₹7,000, significantly strengthening her family’s financial situation. This increase not only improved their daily well-being but also offered greater security and confidence for the future.
Geetaben’s journey stands as an inspiring example of how the Samanvay project empowers women, uplifts households, and supports community development by building skills and creating pathways to economic independence.
