Deepak Foundation proudly hosted the “Women in Climate Action: Seminar on Investing in the Right Climate Action” in Vadodara, focusing on solutions for climate change mitigation and nature conservation, with an emphasis on the role of women in addressing climate challenges. Member of Parliament, Vadodara Dr Hemang Joshi was the chief guest on the occasion. Distinguished guests included Shri AM Tiwari (Retd. IAS), Principal Advisor at Deepak Foundation, Shri SK Anand, Independent Director at Deepak Group, and Dr. Riddhi Mehta, Trustee at Deepak Foundation. Dr. Jai Pawar, Director of Deepak Foundation, opened the seminar with insightful remarks.

The event featured three key panel discussions on climate change, gender, ecosystems, and corporate responsibility. Experts like Dr. Deiva Oswin Stanley, Ms. Trupti Jain, Shri Sandeep Bharti, Prof. Geeta Padate, Ms. Divya Gupta, and Dr. Akash Kumar Lal shared insights on the intersection of climate change and women’s health.

The final panel focused on Corporate Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, featuring Dr. Madhur Saxena, Mr. Nishil G. Jos, and Ms. Navya Singh, who discussed corporate roles in empowering women and driving community-driven climate action.

Presentations highlighted actionable projects for climate action and nature conservation, reinforcing commitment to sustainable solutions and a greener future.
