Rai (VP HR South Asia), Vipin Kumar (HR Director), Samantha Mclelland (Program Manager Water), Hilary Arthur (Managed – Kohler Stewardship), Nicole Brown (Project Leader – Stewardship) Rishika Jaiswal including, along with Dr. Jai Pawar, Director Deepak Foundation and Debrata Bhuniya, Audit Head, Deepak Foundation, briefed the Kohler team members about the newly constructed bathrooms in Dumalpor and Navinagri, Jhagadia taluka in Bharuch district.
During the visit, the team engaged in meaningful discussions with the beneficiaries, gaining insights into the impact of the new WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) interventions. The visit included a review of the baseline survey report, inspection of the newly built toilets, and an overview of the school refurbishment efforts. The team also explored the established government linkages and held a productive meeting with the Panchayat members and the Village Monitoring Committee.
The visit further included an on-site inspection of 2-3 toilets currently under construction and a tour of the water restoration site. These efforts are part of Kohler’s and Deepak Foundation’s combined commitment in improving sanitation and hygiene standards in Jhagadia, ensuring sustainable and impactful community development.
