A year-long skill development project implemented in the rural and peri-urban areas of Taloja, Raigad District. The Supported by Deepak Nitrite Ltd., the initiative aimed to enhance employability among underprivileged youth aged 18–40 through training on Facility Management Services and on Home Health Aide (HHA) courses. The project targeted 120 individuals, focusing on women (minimum 70%) and marginalized groups including SC/ST/OBC, SHG members, and those from BPL households.

The Supported by Deepak Nitrite Ltd., the initiative aimed to enhance employability among underprivileged youth aged 18–40 through training on Facility Management Services and on Home Health Aide (HHA) courses. The project targeted 120 individuals, focusing on women (minimum 70%) and marginalized groups including SC/ST/OBC, SHG members, and those from BPL households.

During the year, out of 374 mobilized candidates, 129 were registered; 102 completed training and 74 were successfully placed in jobs across hospitals, pre-schools, Anganwadi centers, hotels, and retail sectors. This accounts for 61% direct placement in the organized sector.

Many women-led entrepreneur emerged as a highlight, especially in food services in remote villages. The project addressed training and placement challenges through transport support, counselling, industry awareness drives, and creation of PAN/bank accounts. Certification, guest lectures, and a valedictory ceremony reinforced student achievements and community support.

The program demonstrated strong community engagement and capacity building, promoting sustainable livelihoods and socio-economic inclusion in the region.
